Common use of Payment of Unused Sick Leave Benefits Clause in Contracts

Payment of Unused Sick Leave Benefits. In the case of the death of an employee, payment of fifty percent (50%) of their unused Sick Leave, if any, as provided in Article XXI, Leaves of Absence, F.1., Sick Leave, shall be made to the employee’s beneficiary or estate. Such payments will be made at the employee’s regular rate of pay as of the date of death.
