  • Vacation Earnings for Partial Years (a) (1) During the first partial year of service a new employee will earn vacation at the rate of one and one-quarter (1¼) days for each month for which he/she earns ten (10) days' pay.

  • Earned Vacation Full-time employees, as defined in this article, shall accrue vacation as follows:

  • Benefit Waiting Period Allowance (a) An employee who qualifies for and takes leave pursuant to 21.1 or 21.2 and is required by Employment Insurance to serve a one-week waiting period for Employment Insurance Maternity/Parental benefits, shall be paid a leave allowance equivalent to one week at 85% of the employee's basic pay.

  • Performance Bonus If Employee's employment is terminated by Employee with cause, or by Bank without cause, Employee shall be paid, in addition to the amounts payable under Sections 3.5 and 3.6 of the Agreement: (i) all non-forfeitable deferred compensation, if any; and (ii) unpaid performance bonus payments, if any, payable under Section 4.2 of the Agreement, which shall be declared earned and payable based upon performance up to, and shall be pro-rated as of, the date of termination.   • Maximum Vacation Accrual Employees may accrue vacation up to a maximum of two hundred forty (240) hours. An employee who has reached the maximum accrual level may continue to accrue vacation until his or her next anniversary date, at which time any vacation accrued in addition to the two hundred forty (240) hour maximum accrual will be extinguished. With the written approval of the appropriate Vice President, an employee may accrue more than two hundred forty (240) hours of vacation when he or she is precluded from taking a previously scheduled vacation because of University needs. Any such written approval will specify a timeline for the employee to use any excess vacation accrual, after which any excess vacation accrual will be extinguished.
