Compensatory time off means authorized time off earned by or awarded to an employee to compensate in whole or in part for time worked in excess of the minimum work time required of that employee as a condition of his or her employment.
Paid sick leave – means paid leave under the Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act.
First-time offender means any person who has no prior
Vacation means annual vacation with pay.
Current Sick Leave means those days of sick leave for the current contract year, which leave is granted at the rate of one day of sick leave per month worked, or major part thereof.
Paid leave means time away from work by an employee for which the employee receives compensation. Paid leave is limited to sick time, vacation time, compensatory time, and leave that is provided as an aggregate amount for use at the discretion of the employee for any of these purposes. Paid leave does not include paid short-term or long-term disability, catastrophic leave, or similar types of benefits.
Accrued Day(s) Off means the paid day(s) off accruing to an employee resulting from an entitlement to the 38 hour week as prescribed in Clause 6. - Hours of this award.
Off-Peak Hours means those hours which are not On-Peak Hours.
Part-Time Employees means employees employed on a permanent basis, but obligated to work less than a full (i.e., forty-hour) work week.
Order Cut-Off Time means 10:00 a.m., New York time, on a Business Day.
Applicable Wages means the basic straight time wages for all hours worked, including:
parental bereavement leave means leave under section 80EA of the Employment Rights Act 1996;
Order Cutoff Time means, with respect to any Business Day, (i) 4:00 p.m. (New York time) on such Business Day or (ii) another time agreed to by the Sponsor and the Trustee and of which Registered Owners and all existing Authorized Participants have been notified by the Trustee.
Travel Time is the time an Interpreter uses to commute to and from an Appointment. Travel time, if more than one (1) hour each way, is added to the total time of the initial Appointment request. See “Payment for Services, Travel Reimbursement” in Exhibit C – Bid Price for additional information.
Bereavement Pay Benefits means the benefits as set out in Article II hereof.
Weeks Pay' means the ordinary time rate of pay for the employee concerned:
Approved Leave of Absence means a leave of absence that has been approved by the applicable Participating Company in such a manner as the Board may determine from time to time.
Weeks pay means the ordinary weekly rate of wage for the employee concerned.
Vacation Year means the twelve (12) month period commencing on the first (1st) day of April in each calendar year and concluding on the thirty-first (31st) day of March of the following calendar year.
statutory parental bereavement pay means a payment to which a person is entitled in accordance with section 171ZZ6 of the Social Security Contribution and Benefits Act 1992;

Regular Part-Time Employee means an employee who is appointed to a regularly scheduled position but works less than full-time. A regular part-time employee is entitled to all benefits outlined in the agreement on a pro rata basis, except where otherwise specified.
converted employment and support allowance means an employment and support allowance which is not income-related and to which a person is entitled as a result of a conversion decision within the meaning of the Employment and Support Allowance (Existing Awards) Regulations 2008;
Proposal Due Date and Time means the date and time specified in the Request for Proposal as the deadline for submitting Proposals.
Company Benefit Plans has the meaning set forth in Section 3.16(a).
Transferred Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 6.4(a).
