Commercial Driver’s License As a result of recent Federal statutory requirements, the State of Michigan enacted Act 346 of 1988. The parties agree that as a result of these statutory requirements some employees within the Technical Bargaining Unit may be required to obtain and retain a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) to continue to perform certain duties for the State. Whenever a CDL is referred to in this Section, it is understood to mean the CDL and any required endorsements. In order to implement this provision, the parties agree to the following:
Driver’s License Executive shall have and carry a valid driver's license issued by his or her state of domicile or the State of Employment hereunder and a driver's permit issued by the Company whenever Executive is driving any motor vehicle in connection with Company business. Executive agrees to immediately notify Company in writing if Executive's driver's license is lost, expired, restricted, suspended or revoked for any reason whatsoever.
DRIVERS LICENCE You must carry your Driver Licence and/or the copy of your English Translation on you at all times while driving. Please also keep a copy of your Rental Agreement in the vehicle at all times.
Certification Regarding Prohibition of Boycotting Israel (Tex Gov. Code 2271) If (a) Vendor is not a sole proprietorship; (b) Vendor has ten (10) or more full-time employees; and (c) this Agreement or any agreement with a TIPS Member under this procurement has value of $100,000 or more, the following certification shall apply; otherwise, this certification is not required. Vendor certifies, where applicable, that neither the Vendor, nor any affiliate, subsidiary, or parent company of Vendor, if any, boycotts Israel, and Vendor agrees that Vendor and Vendor Companies will not boycott Israel during the term of this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, the term “boycott” shall mean and include refusing to deal with, terminating business activities with, or otherwise taking any action that is intended to penalize, inflict economic harm on, or limit commercial relations with Israel, or with a person or entity doing business in Israel or in an Israeli-controlled territory but does not include an action made for ordinary business purposes. State of California Public Liability and Workers’ Compensation Program A. The Judicial Council has elected to be self-insured for its motor vehicle, aircraft liability and general liability exposures.
Accreditation of Online Schools The District will implement a system of accrediting its online schools, as defined in section 22-30.7- 102(9.5), C.R.S. This system shall adhere to section 00-00-000, C.R.S., including a review of the online school’s alignment to the quality standards outlined in section 22-30.7-105(3)(b), C.R.S., and compliance with statutory or regulatory requirements, in accordance with section 22-30.7-103(3)(m), C.R.S.
Governing Law, Regulatory Authority, and Rules The validity, interpretation and enforcement of this Agreement and each of its provisions shall be governed by the laws of the state of New York, without regard to its conflicts of law principles. This Agreement is subject to all Applicable Laws and Regulations. Each Party expressly reserves the right to seek changes in, appeal, or otherwise contest any laws, orders, or regulations of a Governmental Authority.
