Pension fund – Employee contribution. Regardless of Article 27.03, the employee contribution to the pension fund from the wages of each electrician-journeyman and security systems installer-journeyman is 9% of his wage rate for every hour worked plus compulsory annual vacation pay, statutory holiday pay and sick leave pay. Regardless of Article 27.03, the employee contribution to the pension fund by each apprentice electrician and apprentice security systems installer is 3% of his wage rate plus compulsory annual vacation pay, statutory holiday pay and sick leave pay, for a minimum of $0.80. In applying the preceding paragraph, the employee contribution of 3% is increased to 3.5% as of May 1, 2022, 4% as of April 30, 2023 and 4.5% as of April 28, 2024.

  • Employee Contribution Eligible employees shall contribute one percent (1%) of their salary on a per pay period basis to the HCSP.

  • Voluntary Employee Contributions (i) Subject to the governing rules of the relevant superannuation fund, an employee may, in writing, authorise their employer to pay on behalf of the employee a specified amount from the post- taxation wages of the employee into the same superannuation fund as the employer makes the superannuation contributions provided for in Clause 24(b). (ii) An employee may adjust the amount the employee has authorised their employer to pay from the wages of the employee from the first of the month following the giving of three months’ written notice to their employer. (iii) The employer must pay the amount authorised under Clauses 24(d)(i) or 24(d)(ii) no later than 28 days after the end of the month in which the deduction authorised under Clauses 24(d)(i) or 24(d)(ii) was made.

  • Employee Contributions Any member of the bargaining unit who is hired on or after September 1, 2010 is eligible to make a voluntary contribution to the City=s Deferred Compensation Plan offered by Ameritas.

  • Employer Contribution (a) An Employer contribution for health and dental benefits will only be made for each active employee who has at least eighty (80) paid regular hours in a month and who is eligible for medical insurance coverage, unless otherwise required by law. (b) It is understood that the administrative intent of this Article is that the Employer contribution is made for individuals who are participants in the medical insurance coverages. Participation will mean that eligible less-than-full-time employees who drop out of coverage will be considered to participate.   • Retirement Contribution 1. The State shall, as permitted by 5 M.R.S.A. §17702 §§s5 and 6, pay its cost of the 6.5% or 7.5% retirement contribution for employees in the bargaining unit who are covered under special Law Enforcement retirement plans. 2. The State shall, as permitted by 5 M.R.S.A. §17702 §§s5 and 6, pay the cost of the 6.5% or 7.5% retirement contribution for employees in the following classifications.

  • Deferred Compensation Account The Employer shall maintain on its books and records a Deferred Compensation Account to record its liability for future payments of deferred compensation and interest thereon required to be paid to the Employee or his beneficiary pursuant to this Agreement. However, the Employer shall not be required to segregate or earmark any of its assets for the benefit of the Employee or his beneficiary. The amount reflected in said Deferred Compensation Account shall be available for the Employer's general corporate purposes and shall be available to the Employer's general creditors. The amount reflected in said Deferred Compensation Account shall not be subject in any manner to anticipation, alienation, sale, transfer, assignment, pledge, encumbrance, attachment or garnishment by creditors of the Employee or his beneficiary, and any attempt to anticipate, alienate, transfer, assign or attach the same shall be void. Neither the Employee nor his beneficiary may assert any right or claim against any specific assets of the Employer. The Employee or his beneficiary shall have only a contractual right against the Employer for the amount reflected in said Deferred Compensation Account and shall have the status of general unsecured creditors. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in order to pay amounts which may become due under this Agreement, the Employer may establish a grantor trust (hereinafter the "Trust") within the meaning of Section 671 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. The assets in such Trust shall at all times be subject to the claims of the general creditors of the Employer in the event of the Employer's bankruptcy or insolvency, and neither the Employee nor any beneficiary shall have any preferred claim or right, or any beneficial ownership interest in, any such assets of the Trust prior to the time such assets are paid to the Employee or beneficiary pursuant to this Agreement. The Employer shall credit to said Deferred Compensation Account the amount of any salary to which the Employee becomes entitled and which is deferred pursuant to Section 1 hereof, such amount to be credited as of the first business day of each month. The Employer shall also credit to said Deferred Compensation Account an Interest Equivalent in the amount and manner set forth in Section 3 hereof.

  • Matching Contributions The Employer will make matching contributions in accordance with the formula(s) elected in Part II of this Adoption Agreement Section 3.01.

  • Retirement Savings Plan Within fifteen (15) days after the date of Termination of Employment, the Company shall pay to Employee a cash payment in an amount, if any, necessary to compensate Employee for the Employee’s unvested interests under the Company’s retirement savings plan which are forfeited by Employee in connection with the Termination of Employment.

  • Retirement Contributions On behalf of employees, the State will continue to “pick up” the six percent (6%) employee contribution, payable pursuant to law. The parties acknowledge that various challenges have been filed that contest the lawfulness, including the constitutionality, of various aspects of PERS reform legislation enacted by the 2003 Legislative Assembly, including Chapters 67 (HB 2003) and 68 (HB 2004) of Oregon Laws 2003 (“PERS Litigation”). Nothing in this Agreement shall constitute a waiver of any party’s rights, claims or defenses with respect to the PERS Litigation.
