Common use of Permanent Care Leave Clause in Contracts

Permanent Care Leave. An Employee will be entitled to access parental leave in accordance with this clause at a time agreed with the Employer if they: are granted a permanent care order in relation to the custody or guardianship of a Child pursuant to the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 (Vic) (or any successor to the legislation) or a permanent parenting order by the Family Court of Australia, and will be the Primary or Secondary Caregiver for that Child.
