Common use of Permanent OTFT Clause in Contracts

Permanent OTFT. RPT Vacancies of 0.3 FTE or Less In consultation with the Local where permanent OTFT-RPT positions of 0.3 FTE or less are vacated, the Employer may offer permanent existing OTFT–RPT Employees, within the applicable work area, in order of seniority, the opportunity to increase their hours. Where additional hours are added to an Employee’s position, new Letters of Appointment for affected OTFT–RPT Employees shall be issued. In the event the Employer is unable to fill the existing vacancy, as outlined above, the vacated position shall be posted and filled in its entirety according to 27.01.
