Permanent Promotions. (a) When an employee is promoted he/she will receive an increase of 5% on his/her base rate (or 5% per group of promotion, as the case may be) except that where the resultant salary would be less than the minimum of the new job group he/she shall receive such minimum; or where the resultant salary would be higher than the maximum of the new job group, he/she shall receive such maximum.
