When the unit member's need for absence is based upon immediate and/or unavoidable personal circumstances, use of personal necessity absence shall be permissible, subject to approval of the immediate supervisor/manager or administrator. Upon return from a personal necessity leave, bargaining unit members shall be required to complete absence verification forms provided by the District and to submit such verification as may be required.
