Personal HomeX Concierge. As a Full Service Plus member, you will be assigned a personal HomeX concierge and provided with a dedicated direct phone line. Your HomeX concierge is available to help manage your personal home care needs, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, Monday-Friday. Potential services include arranging and managing any home service requests with HomeX or its affiliates; arranging and managing any handyman services; and/or referring home service providers for services the company or its affiliates do not directly provide (e.g. painting, chimney cleaning, carpet installation). Note: Home Advocate L.L.C. is not liable for the work product of any referred vendors. Exclusions include but are not limited to: cost of home service needs not covered by the planned maintenance and repair services in Sections 4d and 4e.

  • Personal Services No employee shall be required to perform services of a personal nature.

  • INDEPENDENT PERSONAL SERVICES 1. Income derived by a resident of a Contracting State in respect of professional services or other activities of an independent character shall be taxable only in that State unless he has a fixed base regularly available to him in the other Contracting State for the purpose of performing his activities. If he has such a fixed base, the income may be taxed in the other State but only so much of it as is attributable to that fixed base. 2. The term “professional services” includes especially independent scientific, literary, artistic, educational or teaching activities as well as the independent activities of physicians, lawyers, engineers, architects, dentists and accountants.

  • Tropical Hardwood and Virgin Redwood Ban Pursuant to San Francisco Environment Code Section 804(b), the City urges Contractor not to import, purchase, obtain, or use for any purpose, any tropical hardwood, tropical hardwood wood product, virgin redwood or virgin redwood wood product.

  • Dewatering (a) Where the whole of a site is so affected by surface water following a period of rain that all productive work is suspended by agreement of the Parties, then dewatering shall proceed as above with Employees so engaged being paid at penalty rates as is the case for safety rectification work. This work is typically performed by Employees engaged within CW1, CW2 or CW3 classifications. When other Employees are undertaking productive work in an area or areas not so affected then dewatering will only attract single time rates. (b) Where a part of a site is affected by surface water following a period of rain, thus rendering some areas unsafe for productive work, consistent with the Employer’s obligations under the OH&S Act, appropriate Employees shall assist in the tidying up of their own work site or area if it is so affected. Where required, appropriate Employees will be provided with the appropriate PPE. Such work to be paid at single time rates. Productive work will continue in areas not so affected. (c) To avoid any confusion any ‘dewatering’ time which prevents an Employee from being engaged in their normal productive work is not included in any calculation for the purposes of determining whether an Employee is entitled to go home due to wet weather (refer clauses 32.4 and 32.5)

  • DEPENDENT PERSONAL SERVICES 1. Subject to the provisions of Articles 16, 18 and 19, salaries, wages and other similar remuneration derived by a resident of a Contracting State in respect of an employment shall be taxable only in that State unless the employment is exercised in the other Contracting State. If the employment is so exercised, such remuneration as is derived therefrom may be taxed in that other State. 2. Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph 1, remuneration derived by a resident of a Contracting State in respect of an employment exercised in the other Contracting State shall be taxable only in the first-mentioned State if: a) the recipient is present in the other State for a period or periods not exceeding in the aggregate 183 days in any twelve-month period commencing or ending in the tax year concerned, and b) the remuneration is paid by, or on behalf of, an employer who is not a resident of the other State, and c) the remuneration is not borne by a permanent establishment or a fixed base which the employer has in the other State. 3. Notwithstanding the preceding provisions of this Article, remuneration derived in respect of an employment exercised aboard a ship or aircraft operated in international traffic by a resident of a Contracting State, may be taxed in that State.

  • Gaming, betting and lotteries The Hirer shall ensure that nothing is done on or in relation to the premises in contravention of the law relating to gaming, betting and lotteries.

  • Personal Holidays An employee may choose one (1) workday as a personal holiday during each calendar year if the employee has been continuously employed by the State of Washington and/or the Employer for more than four (4) months. A. An employee who is scheduled to work less than six (6) continuous months over a period covering two (2) calendar years will receive only one (1) personal holiday during this period. B. The Employer will release the employee from work on the day selected as the personal holiday if: 1. The employee has given at least ten (10) calendar days' written notice to the supervisor. However, the supervisor has the discretion to allow a shorter notice period. 2. The number of employees choosing a specific day off allows an Employer to continue its work efficiently and not incur overtime. C. Personal holidays may not be carried over to the next calendar year except when an eligible employee’s request to take their personal holiday has been denied or canceled. The employee will attempt to reschedule their personal holiday during the balance of the calendar year. If the employee is unable to reschedule the day, it will be carried over to the next calendar year. D. Employers may adopt eligibility policies to determine which requests for particular dates will be granted if all requests cannot be granted. E. The pay for an employee’s personal holiday is equivalent to the employee’s work shift on the day selected for the personal holiday absence. F. Part or all of a personal holiday may be donated to another employee for shared leave as provided in RCW 41.04.

  • Drainage Systems (1) Clear culvert inlets, outlets, and sediment catching basins. (2) Maintain waterbars, drainage dips, and other water diversion measures. (3) During active use, patrol and maintain functional drainage. (4) Repair damaged culvert ends.

  • Additional Hours Employees who are required to work additional hours beyond their working week are entitled to receive enhancements on the following basis: Monday to Saturday Time and a half Sundays and Public and Extra Statutory holidays Double time (min 2 hours) (Part-time employees are entitled to these enhancements only at times and in circumstances in which full-time employees in the establishment would qualify. Otherwise a full working week for full-time employees shall be worked by a part-time employee before these enhancements apply).

  • Availability of Verizon Telecommunications Services 3.1 Verizon will provide a Verizon Telecommunications Service to Z-Tel for resale pursuant to this Attachment where and to the same extent, but only where and to the same extent, that such Verizon Telecommunications Service is provided to Verizon’s Customers. 3.2 Except as otherwise required by Applicable Law, subject to Section 3.1, Verizon shall have the right to add, modify, grandfather, discontinue or withdraw, Verizon Telecommunications Services at any time, without the consent of Z-Tel. 3.3 To the extent required by Applicable Law, the Verizon Telecommunications Services to be provided to Z-Tel for resale pursuant to this Attachment will include a Verizon Telecommunications Service customer-specific contract service arrangement (“CSA”) (such as a customer specific pricing arrangement or individual case based pricing arrangement) that Verizon is providing to a Verizon Customer at the time the CSA is requested by Z-Tel.
