Common use of - PERSONAL LEAVE DAY REASONS Clause in Contracts

- PERSONAL LEAVE DAY REASONS. A restricted day of personal leave may be granted for the following reasons (limited to one (1) per year): A. Wedding in the immediate family that falls during the school day. B. Court appearances, except where the employee is the defendant and adjudicated guilty. C. Religious holidays when absence from work is required. D. Graduation of the employee, spouse or child. E. Legal closing for real estate transaction. F. Auto accidents involving the employee of his/her immediate family. G. Emergency home repairs. Except for emergencies, as determined by the Superintendent, no employee shall be granted any personal leave days during the first five (5) or last five (5) days of the school year.
