PERSONNEL FILES AND EVALUATION. A. An employee shall have the right to review the contents of all records, excluding references and records exempt by law, of the Board pertaining to said individual originating after the initial employment, and to have an Association Representative, if requested, present at such review. B. No material shall be placed in employee's personnel record unless the employee has had an opportunity to review said material. The employee shall also be given an opportunity to sign evaluations, discipline documents and other documents reflecting adversely upon the employee before they are placed in the employee’s personnel record. The employee may submit a written notation regarding any material and the same shall be attached to the material in question. If an employee is requested to sign material to be placed in the employee’s file, such signature shall be understood to indicate the employee’s awareness of the material, but in no instance shall said signature be interpreted to mean agreement with the material's content.
