Placement on Salary Guide. 1. Initial placement on the Salary Guide shall be negotiated with the prospective employee pursuant to New Jersey state statute and the number agreed on shall be a number on the then current Salary Guide. 2. In the initial year of employment, any employee working more than half the contract year shall be granted an increment. 3. All employees shall be notified of their contract and salary status for the ensuing year as soon as practicable following the April Board meeting. Such notice shall include job title and job description. 4. Employees hired for any position in this unit shall receive an employment contract within sixty, (60) days.
