Position Evaluation and Classification Clause Samples

The Position Evaluation and Classification clause establishes the process for assessing and categorizing job roles within an organization. Typically, this involves reviewing job descriptions, responsibilities, and required qualifications to assign each position to an appropriate grade or classification level, which may determine pay scales and benefits. By providing a standardized method for evaluating and classifying positions, this clause ensures consistency, fairness, and transparency in how roles are structured and compensated, helping to prevent disputes and support equitable human resource practices.
