INSERVICE TRAINING. 633. The City agrees to institute inservice training for represented employees by mutual agreement. Training may include, but is not limited to, instruction that will qualify for required CE credits, certificate and license requirements as required for continued employment in the employee's current classification. Required attendance shall be considered a duty assignment for purposes of payment of salary.

INSERVICE TRAINING. 477. The SFMTA agrees to institute in service training for represented employees by mutual agreement. Training may include, but is not limited to, instruction that will qualify for required CE credits, certificate and license requirements as required for continued employment in the employee's current classification. Required attendance shall be considered a duty assignment for purposes of payment of salary.
INSERVICE TRAINING. All reasonable expenses associated with any training required by the Employer shall be paid for by the Employer. In addition, secretaries may be allowed one day per year (with pay) to visit another school for the purpose of observing a secretary in a comparable position. Requests must be submitted through their immediate supervisor to the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Personnel who will determine the merits of the request. His/her decision will be final in the matter.
INSERVICE TRAINING. The District will provide a refresher course in first aid once every three years and a refresher course for CPR every other year as a part of teacher inservice training and the District shall supply the instructor for said refresher courses. In addition, a committee of the Washington County Teachers Association shall meet with the Administration of U.S.D. No. 108 in the spring of each year to make suggestions for speakers to be obtained for inservice training for the following year. The Administration and the teachers shall attempt to arrive at a mutually agreeable speaker for inservice training. Attendance by each teacher is mandatory. INSERVICE TRAINING. ‌ 30.01 All employees required by the Board to participate in any training and/or health and safety program shall be compensated at their regular rate of pay for the length of the program(s). Employees absent from the program(s) shall not be compensated for those hours unless assigned elsewhere by their immediate supervisor.

Such other training opportunities, as determined by the District, shall be offered to employees on a voluntary basis outside of normal working hours.
INSERVICE TRAINING. Each employee shall be allowed to apply eight (8) hours of paid duty time per year toward attending in-service training sessions offered by the District, the Sonoma County Office of Education, or other District-approved training. The employee must secure prior approval from the site administrator. Travel expenses incurred in attending these training sessions shall be reimbursed to the employee by the District in accordance with the provisions of this agreement under mileage reimbursement. Any time in excess of the employee’s regular workday is unpaid time.

INSERVICE TRAINING. Employees may attend district approved; regional in-service training not offered by the district. Employees shall use district owned vehicles when available, if not available, reimbursement at the current district rate per mile will be paid for the use of a private vehicle. The district agrees to pay reasonable costs of registration, books, and meals, when necessary upon presentation of proper receipts. The district further agrees to pay costs of necessary lodging on a per case basis. The district will provide $1000 that may be accessed to pay fees for tests needed to make an employee eligible to teach in a different subject area.
INSERVICE TRAINING. 10.13.1 All inservice programs shall be mutually determined by administration and staff. 10.13.2 All inservice education meetings for unit members shall occur during the normal workday, or teachers will be paid a stipend of $30 per hour per teacher for any inservice meetings held outside of the workday.
