Position of reinforcement. All fabric reinforcement is to be in sheets and fixed in the required position by metal chairs or some suitable method approved by the Perit in charge. Adequate and effective precautions should be taken to leave all reinforcement undisturbed during concreting, planking elevated on low trestles for the passage of wheel-xxxxxxx being provided by the Contractor. Wheel-xxxxxxx shall under no circumstances be allowed to transit directly over the reinforcement. All the reinforcement shall be placed strictly as directed. Nothing shall be allowed to interfere with the required disposition of the reinforcement. The Contractor shall make a particular point to see that all parts of the reinforcement are placed correctly in every respect, and are temporarily fixed where necessary to prevent displacement before or during the process of tamping and ramming the concrete in place. The reinforcement is to be free form oil, paint, mill scale, excessive rust or coating of any character which would tend to destroy its adhesive bond with the concrete. In addition, when the reinforcement is in a position ready for concreting, the contractor must notify the Perit who is to arrange for it to be checked before any of it is covered up with concrete. Such checking shall not relieve the contractor from any of his responsibilities under the contract. Lapping in nominal bar reinforcement is to be not less than 40 times the diameter of the larger of the reinforcement being lapped. Dimensions are to be checked with the Architect. Fabric reinforcement is to be lapped not less than 300mm unless specified otherwise.

  • RECOGNITION OUTCOMES The receiving institution commits to provide the sending institution and the student with a Transcript of Records within a period stipulated in the inter-institutional agreement and normally not longer than five weeks after publication/proclamation of the student’s results at the receiving institution. The Transcript of Records from the receiving institution will contain at least the minimum information requested in this Learning Agreement template. Table E (or the representation that the institution makes of it) will include all the educational components agreed in table A and, if there were changes to the study programme abroad, in table C. In addition, grade distribution information should be included in the Transcript of Records or attached to it (a web link where this information can be found is enough). The actual start and end dates of the study period will be included according to the following definitions: The start date of the study period is the first day the student has been present at the receiving institution, for example, for the first course, for a welcoming event organised by the host institution or for language and intercultural courses. The end date of the study period is the last day the student has been present at the receiving institution and not his actual date of departure. This is, for example, the end of exams period, courses or mandatory sitting period. Following the receipt of the Transcript of Records from the receiving institution, the sending institution commits to provide to the student a Transcript of Records, without further requirements from the student, and normally within five weeks. As used in this Section 16(e):

  • Consideration of Criminal History in Hiring and Employment Decisions 10.14.1 Contractor agrees to comply fully with and be bound by all of the provisions of Chapter 12T, “City Contractor/Subcontractor Consideration of Criminal History in Hiring and Employment Decisions,” of the San Francisco Administrative Code (“Chapter 12T”), including the remedies provided, and implementing regulations, as may be amended from time to time.   • Recognition of Stewards The Employer recognizes employees who are designated by the Union as stewards to act on behalf of the employees.

  • Collaboration on Compliance and Enforcement A Competent Authority will notify the other Competent Authority when the first-mentioned Competent Authority has reason to believe that an error may have led to incorrect or incomplete information reporting or there is non-compliance by a Reporting Financial Institution with the applicable reporting requirements and due diligence procedures consistent with the Common Reporting Standard. The notified Competent Authority will take all appropriate measures available under its domestic law to address the errors or non-compliance described in the notice.

  • Recognition of Union Stewards and Grievance Committee In order to provide an orderly and speedy procedure for the settling of grievances, the Employer acknowledges the rights and duties of the Union Stewards. The Xxxxxxx shall assist any Employee, which the Xxxxxxx represents, in preparing and presenting her grievance in accordance with the grievance procedure.

  • Recognition of Previous Experience (a) The Employer will recognize recent related RN experience on the basis of one (1) annual increment for each one (1) year of service up to the maximum of the grid. Part-time service shall be recognized on the basis of fifteen hundred (1500) hours paid in previous employment equals one (1) year of service. It shall be the responsibility of a newly hired employee to make a claim of recent and related experience within the probationary period in order to be considered for a salary increment. If she/he fails to make a claim in the specified time period or fails to provide reasonable proof of recent related experience, she/he shall not be entitled to recognition.

(b) In the event that a Covered Party or any BHC Affiliate of such Covered Party becomes subject to a proceeding under a U.S. Special Resolution Regime, any Default Right under this Agreement that may be exercised against such Covered Party is permitted to be exercised to no greater extent than such Default Right could be exercised under the U.S. Special Resolution Regime if this Agreement were governed by the laws of the United States of America or a State of the United States of America.
