Common use of Post-Natal Leave Clause in Contracts

Post-Natal Leave. On the occasion of the birth of a child, the child’s parent who is not taking a Pregnancy Leave shall be entitled to a leave with full salary and benefits, and without loss of seniority, of up to five (5) working days, to be taken at the discretion of the Employee within four (4) weeks of the birth. An Employee taking such leave shall give the Employer as much advance written notice as possible.
