Power System Controls Sample Clauses

Power System Controls. 1. Install one (1) RTU at the Generating Facility to monitor typical generation elements such as MW, MVAR, terminal voltage and circuit breaker status for the Generating Facility and plant auxiliary load, and transmit the information received thereby to the Distribution Provider’s grid control center. Notwithstanding that the RTU will be located on the Interconnection Customer’s side of the Point of Change of Ownership, the Distribution Provider shall own, operate and maintain the RTU as part of the Distribution Provider’s Interconnection Facilities.

Power System Controls. 1. Equipment required at Lebec Switchyard to receive the following information from PEF and transmit such information to the Participating TO’s Grid Control Center:
Power System Controls. Add points at Whirlwind Substation and upgrade existing RTU.
Power System Controls. Modify points to the RTUs at Antelope Substation to support the SPS.
Power System Controls. Whirlwind Substation RTU expansion to provide additional points, as specified in the AV Solar Ranch One LGIA. Modification of the points to the RTU at Whirlwind Substation, in order to incorporate interconnection of the Small Generating Facility.
Power System Controls. Expand the Whirlwind Substation RTU to provide additional points required for the Project’s 220 kV generation tie-line position. Note: If final engineering designates, this position may be ultimately shared with a 500/220 kV transformer bank. In that case, the circuit breakers and disconnect switches will have to be rated for 4,000 Amps.
Power System Controls. Expand RTU’s at Whirlwind Substation to support the SPS.

Power System Controls. Expand RTUs at Antelope Substation to support the SPS The timing for the inclusion of the Large Generating Facility into this Northern Area SPS is tied to actual development of generation projects seeking interconnection to the Northern Area. Consequently, installation of these upgrades will be scheduled based on the rate at which generation projects execute interconnection agreements and rate at which such projects are actually constructed. The operating need for this upgrade will be assessed annually and construction will be scheduled accordingly to ensure that the project’s In Service Date, Initial Synchronization Date, Trial Operation Date, Commercial Operation Date, and Full Capacity Delivery status are not adversely affected.
Power System Controls. Add new points to RTU to support the addition of the capacitor bank.
Power System Controls. One real-time RTU at the Phase I site and one real-time RTU at the Phase II site. Notwithstanding the fact that the RTUs will be located on the Interconnection Customer’s side of the Point of Change of Ownership, such facilities will be owned, operated and maintained by the Participating TO.
