Practicability Analysis. According to Xxxxxxxxx & Xxxxx (1983), the propensity score is suitable for testing causal effects because it is sufficiently removed bias due to all observed covariates (Xxxxx- xxxx & Xxxxx 1983). Moreover, the matching method requires a valid assumption of randomisation and conditional independence (CIA), according to Xxxxxxxx (2018). The applicability of using propensity score matching in this study is explained as follows: Firstly, the observations of this research are randomly selected. This research employs datasets derived from The Labour Force Survey (LFS). The Office for National Statis- tics (ONS) selects samples through a multi-stage stratified random sampling technique (Xxxxx & Xxxxxxx 1999) to ensure observations were obtained from the randomised selection. Secondly, this paper meets the requirement of Conditional Independent Assumption (CIA). The decision-making process for participating in job-related training or skills im- provement highly depends on personalities and abilities, such as education level, work performance, or Marital history (Hill 2001). The results derived from the Probit model have revealed that the impacts of job training and self-improvement on employability are statistically significant. This indicates that post-school training, which could simul- taneously influence both treatment assignment and potential outcomes, could be clearly identified in experiments. Therefore, the Conditional Independence Assumption (CIA) is satisfied. Moreover, existing literature provides empirical evidence regarding using Propensity score matching in non-experimental employment research.Xxxxxxx et al. (1998) explored a new way of evaluating a job training programme by applying propensity score matching on nonexperimental data. Xxxxxxx & Xxxxx (1999) used propensity score matching to re-estimate an experiment and found that results produced by propensity score matching were much closer to the experimental results. Ohkusa (2004) also used the propensity score matching and average treatment effect and discovered that unemployment benefits introduced adverse effects on the labour movement in the Japanese Labour market. Vyas & Xxxxx (2014) used propensity score matching to explore the impact of partner violence on women’s employment in Tanzania. They found that working women had a higher possibility of suffering from partner violence and suggested self-selection for employment.‌

  • Investment Analysis and Commentary The Subadviser will provide quarterly performance analysis and market commentary (the “Investment Report”) during the term of this Agreement. The Investment Reports are due within 10 days after the end of each quarter. In addition, interim Investment Reports shall be issued at such times as may be mutually agreed upon by the Adviser and Subadviser; provided however, that any such interim Investment Report will be due within 10 days of the end of the month in which such agreement is reached between the Adviser and Subadviser. The subject of each Investment Report shall be mutually agreed upon. The Adviser is freely able to publicly distribute the Investment Report.

  • Risk Analysis The Custodian will provide the Fund with a Risk Analysis with respect to Securities Depositories operating in the countries listed in Appendix B. If the Custodian is unable to provide a Risk Analysis with respect to a particular Securities Depository, it will notify the Fund. If a new Securities Depository commences operation in one of the Appendix B countries, the Custodian will provide the Fund with a Risk Analysis in a reasonably practicable time after such Securities Depository becomes operational. If a new country is added to Appendix B, the Custodian will provide the Fund with a Risk Analysis with respect to each Securities Depository in that country within a reasonably practicable time after the addition of the country to Appendix B.

  • Investment Analysis and Implementation In carrying out its obligations under Section 1 hereof, the Advisor shall: (a) supervise all aspects of the operations of the Funds; (b) obtain and evaluate pertinent information about significant developments and economic, statistical and financial data, domestic, foreign or otherwise, whether affecting the economy generally or the Funds, and whether concerning the individual issuers whose securities are included in the assets of the Funds or the activities in which such issuers engage, or with respect to securities which the Advisor considers desirable for inclusion in the Funds' assets; (c) determine which issuers and securities shall be represented in the Funds' investment portfolios and regularly report thereon to the Board of Trustees; (d) formulate and implement continuing programs for the purchases and sales of the securities of such issuers and regularly report thereon to the Board of Trustees; and (e) take, on behalf of the Trust and the Funds, all actions which appear to the Trust and the Funds necessary to carry into effect such purchase and sale programs and supervisory functions as aforesaid, including but not limited to the placing of orders for the purchase and sale of securities for the Funds.

  • Independent Analysis Each Party hereby confirms that its decision to execute this Agreement has been based upon its independent assessment of documents and information available to it, as it has deemed appropriate.

  • Overview (a) The Employer is committed to maintaining a stable and skilled workforce, recognising its contribution to the operation of the Employer. As such, full time direct and ongoing employment is a guiding principle of this Agreement. (b) The Employer will take all measures to achieve employment security for the direct permanent employees of the Employer. (c) The employer agrees that it is highly important to ensure that work is performed effectively, efficiently and without undue pressure or bullying, and in a way that promotes OHS and EO principles and practices in the workplace and appropriate representation of employees should they so request. The employer will ensure that its employment practices are consistent with the above principles and practices.

  • Financial Viability and Regulatory Compliance 2.6.1 Contractor warrants and represents that its corporate entity is in good standing with all applicable federal, state, and local licensing authorities and that it possesses all requisite licenses to perform the services required by this contract. Contractor further warrants and represents that it owes no outstanding delinquent federal, state or local taxes or business assessments. 2.6.2 Contractor agrees to promptly disclose to the MPHA any IRS liens or licensure suspension or revocation that may adversely affect its capacity to perform the services outlined within this contract. The failure by Contractor to disclose such issue to the MPHA in writing within 5 days of such notification received will constitute a material breach of this contract. 2.6.3 Contractor further agrees to promptly disclose to the MPHA any change of more than 50% of its ownership and/or any declaration of bankruptcy that Contractor may undergo during the term(s) of this contract. The failure of Contractor to disclose any change of more than 50% of its ownership and/or its declaration of bankruptcy within 5 days of said actions shall constitute a material breach of this contract. 2.6.4 All disclosures made pursuant to this section of the contract shall be made in writing and submitted to MPHA within the time periods required herein.
