Pre-arranged Overtime. (a) Where an employee by advance arrangement returns for overtime work before the employee's normal starting time, the employee shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours at time and one-half provided the employee does not continue into the employee's normal work period. The employee will be required to provide and pay for the employee's own transportation when on overtime assignments, except when the overtime worked is immediately after the regular working hours of the employee and the employee was not advised of the overtime prior to the start of the work period. (b) When the Company cancels pre-arranged overtime on short notice, the employee will be paid one (1) hour at the base rate. This payment will not be made when the overtime is cancelled before the employee comes to work or if the overtime is both arranged and cancelled during the same work period.
