Predisciplinary Safeguards. Prior to the imposition of disciplinary action, the District shall give written notice to the unit member. This written notice of disciplinary action shall be deemed sufficient if personally delivered or sent to the unit member by District email and/or certified mail, return receipt requested, at least ten (10) District business days prior to the date when the disciplinary action is proposed to be effective.
