Common use of President's Review and Recommendation Clause in Contracts

President's Review and Recommendation. (1) After reviewing the candidate's dossier and consulting with the Academic Personnel Board, the President or designee shall make a final determination regarding whether to nominate the candidate for tenure to the Board of Trustees. (2) After reviewing the candidate’s dossier and consulting with the Academic Personnel Board, the President or designee shall make the final decision regarding whether to promote a candidate. (3) The President or designee shall notify the xxxx of a potential negative decision, who shall notify the department chair and the candidate not less than ten (l0) days before the President's or designee’s official notification of the decision on tenure or promotion.
