Prevention of Workplace Bullying and Harassment. ‌ The Employer and the Union acknowledge that all employees have the right to work in an environment free from bullying and harassment and where employees treat each other with dignity and respect. The parties agree to work together under the corporate Prevention of Workplace Bullying and Harassment Policy to ensure that the workplace is bullying and harassment-free. Workplace Bullying and Harassment Defined Bullying and Harassment is defined as conduct directed against another person that involves comments and/or actions that a reasonable person knows or ought to know would cause offence, humiliation or intimidation to another person. There are two categories of workplace bullying and harassment. These include Discrimination (Human Rights)-based Bullying and Harassment and General Bullying and Harassment.
