Common use of Probationary Credit Clause in Contracts

Probationary Credit. Time spent in nonpermanent status shall be credited toward probationary status as follows: If the nonpermanent is appointed to probationary status in the same classification performing similar duties with no break in employment, the nonpermanent shall be credited with one (1) month toward the probationary period for every consecutive month of nonpermanent employment to a maximum of one-half (1/2) the required probationary period in the job class.
