COMPLAINT AND GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE 1. When a member of the bargaining unit has any grievance or complaint, he shall forthwith convey to his immediate superior, orally with or without a member of the Association Executive or in writing, all facts relative to the grievance and/or complaint. The member and the superior shall make every attempt to resolve the problem at this preliminary stage.
Submission of Grievances A. Any employee or group of employees shall have the right to present a grievance. No employee or group of employees shall be hindered from or disciplined for exercising this right.
Investigation of Grievances The investigation of grievances shall not interfere with the orderly process of education in District 281.
Processing of Grievances (a) Shop stewards shall suffer no loss in pay for the time spent processing grievances or attending meetings with the Employer's representative.
Submission of Grievance Information a) Upon appointment of the arbitrator, the appealing party shall within five days after notice of appointment forward to the arbitrator, with a copy to the School Board, the submission of the grievance which shall include the following:

COMPLAINTS AND GRIEVANCES 22.01 It is the mutual desire of the parties to this Agreement that reasonable and legitimate complaints and grievances of employees shall be dealt with as quickly as possible.
Dispute Resolution by the Appropriate Commission i) Where any Dispute or differences arises in relation to this agreement of any nature whatsoever including the construction, interpretation or implementation of the provisions of this agreement as well as claim made by any Party for any change in or determination of the Tariff or any matter related to Tariff or claims made by any Party which partly or wholly relate to any change in the Tariff or determination of any of such claims could result in change in the Tariff, and relates to any matter agreed to be referred to the Appropriate Commission, shall be submitted to adjudication by the Appropriate Commission. Appeal against the decisions of the Appropriate Commission shall be made only as per the provisions of the Xxxxxxxxxxx Xxx, 0000, as amended from time to time.
Facilities for Grievances The Employer shall supply the necessary facilities for the grievance meetings.
Good Offices, Conciliation or Mediation 1. Good offices, conciliation and mediation are procedures that are undertaken voluntarily if the Parties involved so agree. They may begin at any time and be terminated at any time.
