Professional Excused Time. Employees may be granted a leave of absence with pay to attend such professional meetings as contribute to their continuing education in librarianship. Prior approval of the employee's supervisor and the Director is required. The Director may impose such conditions as necessary for the equitable carrying out of this Section, which impose the least curtailment of Library services.

The Town shall reimburse those authorized to attend meetings of professional library associations for those dues, fees and/or expenses which are approved by the Director in advance.

  • Professional Dues The school district will pay the annual dues for the Superintendent’s membership in the American Association of School Administrators, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and Nebraska Council of School Administrators. The Superintendent’s membership in other professional organizations will be considered annually and may be approved at the discretion of the school board.
