Professional Growth/Tuition Reimbursement Plan. The District shall establish a pool of $10,000/year for the purpose of reimbursing tuition costs to bargaining unit member’s service to SFUSD, and which have been approved in advance by the District’s Department of Human Resources. In no event shall an individual unit member be eligible for more than $500.00 per year of reimbursement as described herein.

Professional Growth/Tuition Reimbursement Plan. The District shall establish a pool of $20,000/year for the purpose of reimbursing tuition cost to bargaining unit members. Classes to be reimbursed will be approved in advance by the District’s Department of Human Resources. Each member shall be eligible for no more than $1,000 per year of reimbursement as described herein upon verification of completion of classes (e.g. transcripts or sufficient written/electronic proof).

  • Tuition Reimbursement Program 21.2.1 The District will fund $28,000 each fiscal year for incentive pay for employees pursuing their National Board Certification, a master’s degree, or an endorsement.

  • Dependent Care Assistance Program The County offers the option of enrolling in a Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP) designed to qualify for tax savings under Section 129 of the Internal Revenue Code, but such savings are not guaranteed. The program allows employees to set aside up to five thousand dollars ($5,000) of annual salary (before taxes) per calendar year to pay for eligible dependent care (child and elder care) expenses. Any unused balance is forfeited and cannot be recovered by the employee.
