Professional Work Load. A. Special education certificated Employees: Maximum caseload of 35 students with IEPs. If on the student count for any month, the caseload is exceeded, the District shall provide one substitute day to be used during that month for the purpose of doing additional paperwork and IEP meetings.

Professional Work Load. A. Special education certificated Employees: Maximum caseload of 29 students with IEPs, excluding students on 504 plan. For Life Skills, the maximum caseload will be 18 students with IEP’s. When the caseload exceeds 29 students, the District will provide an additional $50 in 2022-2023, $75 in 2023-2024, and $100 in 2024-2025 per student per month. When the caseload reaches 40 students per teacher, an additional para educator shall be hired. For Life Skills, the addition of a para educator will be determined by the student’s IEP. An additional teacher will be hired when the caseload reaches 45 IEP students. Revised: 06/16/2022
