Certificated Employees. The District recognizes the Association as the exclusive bargaining 18 representative for all non-supervisory certificated employees of the District, excluding the 19 Superintendent, administrative assistants to the Superintendent, assistant superintendents, 20 executive directors, business manager, principals, assistant principals, career and technical 21 education director, supervisor, substitutes, and others excluded by the provisions of RCW 41.59.
Certificated Employees. Certificated employees shall receive the following longevity pay for years of District service plus prior years of service as recognized by the District as set forth in Section B. (2)(b) above for salary schedule placement: 15 – 20 years = $ 925 21 – 24 years = $1,150 25 – 30 years = $1,350 31+ = $1,500 In addition, certificated employees with twenty-two (22) or more years of combined service shall receive longevity pay based on their placement on the salary schedule in accordance with the following: BA+24 $550 MA $950 MA+12 $1200 MA+24 $1300 Combined service shall consist of years of experience recognized by the District for initial salary schedule placement plus subsequent years of service in the District. If a certificated employee who qualifies for longevity pay does not complete the school year, the longevity pay shall be prorated based on the number of days actually worked.
Certificated Employees. Non-tenured teachers shall be evaluated at least twice in each school year. Tenured teachers shall be evaluated at least once every two (2) years.
Certificated Employees. The Administration shall evaluate each teacher in writing using an evaluation instrument designed by the Administration with the cooperation of the Association, and shall provide a copy of said evaluation to each teacher. Each formal evaluation shall include an in-class observation of the teacher’s performance. The Administration and Association may jointly agree to meet as a sub-committee from time to time to revise the evaluation document and process. Any revisions proposed by this sub-committee must be agreed upon and approved by the membership of the Association and the Board.
Certificated Employees. 1. For educators in years two and beyond who are scheduled for a comprehensive evaluation, the educator and evaluator will decide on two criteria to be formally scored using evidence provided during the 2020–21 school year. The remaining six criteria will be scored by assigning the score received in the most recent Comprehensive evaluation. Any educator who is at risk of being put on a comprehensive plan will be offered the support of a mentor in order to offer support. The two criteria will be proposed by the educator and mutually-agreed upon with the evaluator. The educator can be moved to a regular Comprehensive cycle (all 8 criteria) if the evaluator or educator provides notice in writing by December 15.
2. In the 2020/21 school year, educators who are not provisional and who are in years two and beyond who are involuntarily reassigned to a new role or who volunteered for reassignment to new role in response to a District request will be placed in the Focused cycle and be formally scored using evidence provided during the 2020–21 school year. The educator can be moved to a regular Comprehensive cycle (all 8 criteria) if the evaluator or educator provides notice in writing by December 15.
3. For educators on a plan of improvement, the District and Association shall determine modifications, if any, to the evaluation process on a case-by-case basis.
Certificated Employees. All certificated employees are assigned an evaluator the first two years of their employment with the Xxxxxxx Adult School. The third year, all certificated employees may choose their evaluator. Certificated employees on the tenure track (probationary employees) will be observed a minimum of twice a year for two years in order to gain permanent status. Temporary employees will be subject to informal observations by their coordinator the first year of employment. During the second year, the formal evaluation process will be followed.
Certificated Employees. 1. a. The primary purpose of the observation/evaluation of certificated employees is to improve the instructional program of the school system. Evaluation sessions with the individual employee should point out the strengths and weaknesses of the employee and give specific suggestions in the areas in which the certificated employee can improve.
Certificated Employees. An individual fully licensed to teach in a subject area or areas in the Public Schools of Indiana.
Certificated Employees. OSPI’s evaluation guidelines for the 21/22 school year provide that schools return to pre-COVID evaluation cycles for certificated staff. The District will adhere to the existing contract language related to involuntary transfers and mid-year transfers.
