Progression in the Pay Plans. Progression of employees from their current step to the next higher step in the appropriate labor grade for their classification shall be automatic and will become effective at the beginning of the pay period in which the employee's anniversary date of classification falls. Any new employees hired or promoted during this contract term will start at Entry level pay.
