Prohibition of Identified Family Relationships. No person shall be a member of the Academy Board if he or she is a Relative of another member of the Academy Board; an employee, officer or individual with an ownership interest in the Academy’s ESP or a Relative of such individual; or if he or she works at the Academy or provides contracted services to the Academy or is a Relative of such individual. Additionally, no Relative may occupy a supervisory position over another Relative. Likewise, prohibitions against holding incompatible public office and against specified conflicts of interest set forth in MCL 15.181 to 15.185 and MCL 15.321 to 15.330, respectively, shall be scrupulously observed.

Prohibition of Identified Family Relationships. The Academy Board shall prohibit specifically identified family relationships pursuant to Applicable Law and the Terms and Conditions of this Contract. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Contract, the following shall be deemed prohibited familial relationships for the purposes of this Contract:
Prohibition of Identified Family Relationships. No person shall be a member of the Academy Board if he or she is: (i) an employee of the Academy or a Relative of an employee of the Academy; (ii) an owner, director, officer or employee of a management company that contracts with the Academy or a Relative of same; (iii) a Relative of a member of the Academy Board; (iv) an owner, director, officer or employee of a company, or a person, who leases property to the Academy or a Relative of same, unless the DPS Designee consents to such membership and the lease is approved by a majority of the other board members; or (v) an executive employee or board member of DPS or a Relative of same. Additionally, no Relative may occupy a direct supervisory position over another Relative. All Relatives providing services to the Academy Board shall be identified in writing by their respective organizations, by position and company, to the Academy Board and DPS and each organization providing services to the Academy shall certify its compliance with this Section. Likewise prohibitions against holding incompatible public office and against specified conflicts of interest set forth in MCL 15.181 to 15.185 and MCL 15.321 to 15.330, respectively, shall be scrupulously observed.

  • Certification Regarding Business with Certain Countries and Organizations Pursuant to Subchapter F, Chapter 2252, Texas Government Code, PROVIDER certifies it is not engaged in business with Iran, Sudan, or a foreign terrorist organization. PROVIDER acknowledges this Purchase Order may be terminated if this certification is or becomes inaccurate.

  • PROHIBITION ON CONTRACTS WITH COMPANIES BOYCOTTING ISRAEL CERTIFICATION As required by Chapter 2271 of the Texas Local Government Code the Contractor must verify that it 1) does not boycott Israel; and 2) will not boycott Israel during the term of the Contract. Pursuant to Section 2271.001, Texas Government Code:

  • NO EXCLUDED NATION OR TERRORIST ORGANIZATION CERTIFICATION As required by Chapter 2252 of the Texas Government Code the Contractor must certify that it is not a company engaged in active business operations with Sudan, Iran, or a foreign terrorist organization – specifically, any company identified on a list prepared and maintained by the Texas Comptroller under Texas Government Code §§806.051, 807.051, or 2252.153. (A company that the U.S. Government affirmatively declares to be excluded from its federal sanctions regime relating to Sudan, Iran, or any federal sanctions regime relating to a foreign terrorist organization is not subject to the contract prohibition.)

  • Convicted, Discriminatory, Antitrust Violator, and Suspended Vendor Lists In accordance with sections 287.133, 287.134, and 287.137, F.S., the Contractor is hereby informed of the provisions of sections 287.133(2)(a), 287.134(2)(a), and 287.137(2)(a), F.S. For purposes of this Contract, a person or affiliate who is on the Convicted Vendor List, the Discriminatory Vendor List, or the Antitrust Violator Vendor List may not perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under the Contract. The Contractor must notify the Department if it or any of its suppliers, subcontractors, or consultants have been placed on the Convicted Vendor List, the Discriminatory Vendor List, or the Antitrust Violator Vendor List during the term of the Contract. In accordance with section 287.1351, F.S., a vendor placed on the Suspended Vendor List may not enter into or renew a contract to provide any goods or services to an agency after its placement on the Suspended Vendor List. A firm or individual placed on the Suspended Vendor List pursuant to section 287.1351, F.S., the Convicted Vendor List pursuant to section 287.133, F.S., the Antitrust Violator Vendor List pursuant to section 287.137, F.S., or the Discriminatory Vendor List pursuant to section 287.134, F.S., is immediately disqualified from Contract eligibility.
