PROMOTION AND TRANSFER. When a regular employee is promoted or transferred out of 5 A regular employee who is promoted or transferred to another King County position and does 6 not complete the probationary period may elect to return to the former position within six (6) months 7 if the former position is vacant and available. If the position is not available, and as a result the 8 employee separates from County service, the employee will be entitled to recall rights to the former 9 classification in accordance with Section 10.9, as if the employee had been laid off on the date of 10 separation.
