(a) Day, afternoon and evening shifts shall be as scheduled within the Corporation’s work week.
(b) For the purpose of overtime payment, the first day of an employee’s scheduled two days off shall be deemed as the Saturday and the second day as the Sunday.
(c) The normal work day for personnel working a 36¼ hour week shall consist of 7¼ hours per day, with up to one and one-quarter (1¼) hours off for lunch.

(a) Day, afternoon and evening shifts shall be as scheduled within the Corporation’s work week.

Community Services Department. The CONTRACTOR agrees to obtain and maintain throughout the period of this Agreement all such licenses as are required to do business in the State of Florida, the City of Naples, and in Xxxxxxx County, Florida, including, but not limited to, all licenses required by the respective state boards and other governmental agencies responsible for regulating and licensing the professional services to be provided and performed by the CONTRACTOR pursuant to this Agreement.
Community Services Department. (a) Clerical staff may work extended hours on a daily basis. The first 80 hours biweekly are worked on a flex basis. After 80 hours biweekly, overtime rates apply.
(b) Other staff routinely attend evening meetings. They travel long distances from outlying areas. Time is banked on a flex basis. After 80 hours biweekly, overtime rates apply.
Community Services Department. 1) Community Services Department employees shall normally work five (5) consecutive eight (8) hour days (Friday to Thursday). Day work will be between the hours of 5:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Afternoon shifts will be between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m.
2) A schedule will be posted April 1st to cover the period of ice out and a schedule will be posted September 1st to cover the period of ice in. The schedule will indicate days of work, days off, Statutory Holidays and hours of work for each employee.
3) On mutual agreement of both parties, a time balanced schedule which will average 40 hours per week over an appropriate period may be worked.
4) Evening, Saturday & Sunday shifts will include a paid meal period.
Community Services Department. (i) Facility Maintainers - Any five shifts 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight, Sunday through Saturday. If an employee is late or phones in sick, the Operator on the 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. shift must remain at work on an overtime basis until a replacement is found to fill the 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight shift. The operations of Recreation facilities, requires Certified/Non Certified Facility Maintainers to rotate on an equal basis to cover facility operations as required. Recreation and Parks dual positions are exempt from Recreation Facility rotations, when assigned to the Parks operations.
Community Services Department. (Animal Services) The Corporation may establish in the Animal Services Section a schedule with normal hours of work of forty (40) hours a week consisting of five (5) shifts of eight (8) hours each, scheduled between the hours of 7:00 AM. Sunday and 11 :00 P.M. Saturday. Payment will be at straight time rates with shift premium payable when applicable.
