Proof of Retirement. Proof of application to the Teachers’ Pension Plan for a pension or a refund will be accepted as proof of retirement. In the event of ill health, a doctor’s statement and proof of application for refund or pension from the Teachers’ Pension Plan Board will be accepted as proof of retirement.

Proof of Retirement. The member must, within one hundred twenty (120) days of his/her last day of employment, provide the Treasurer of the Board with proof that he/she has retired and received and cashed his/her first retirement check from the State Teacher's Retirement System.
