PROTECTION OF EMPLOYEES AND PROPERTY. 5:1 The District and the Association agree that effective means for the protection of employees and property are essential to the smooth functioning of the District. Employees shall report in writing except in cases of an emergency all unsafe or hazardous conditions to the Transportation Supervisor who shall, as quickly as possible after investigation and evaluation, take appropriate action to remedy the condition. The Transportation Supervisor shall provide in writing to the reporting employee the action taken.

Employees and/or the Union shall report in writing (except in cases of an emergency emergency) all unsafe or hazardous conditions to the Supervisor of Transportation Supervisor who shall, as quickly as possible after investigation and evaluation, take appropriate action action, if any, to remedy the condition. The Supervisor of Transportation Supervisor shall provide in writing to the reporting complaining employee a written acknowledgement that the action takencomplaint has been the subject of an investigation.
