Providence Benefits Program. Effective the date of hire, all regular full-time and part- time employees regularly scheduled to work twenty (20) or more hours per week (1.0 to 0.5 FTE) shall be included under and covered by the Employer’s Providence benefits program that is provided to all PAMC eligible employees. Providence will provide a Short Term Disability and Paid Parental Leave benefit. Short Term Disability and Parental Leave will be paid at 65% of the employee’s base rate of pay at the time that the leave began plus shift differential plus certification premium, if applicable. For Variable Shift nurses, a nurse will receive 65% of the nurse’s base rate of pay at the time the leave began plus certification premium. Participation shall be subject to specific plan eligibility requirements and timely submission of benefit election.

  • Medical Benefits The Company shall reimburse the Employee for the cost of the Employee's group health, vision and dental plan coverage in effect until the end of the Termination Period. The Employee may use this payment, as well as any other payment made under this Section 6, for such continuation coverage or for any other purpose. To the extent the Employee pays the cost of such coverage, and the cost of such coverage is not deductible as a medical expense by the Employee, the Company shall "gross-up" the amount of such reimbursement for all taxes payable by the Employee on the amount of such reimbursement and the amount of such gross-up.
