Donning and Xxxxxxx. Nurses who work in departments where they are required to change into and out of hospital provided and laundered scrubs as an integral part of the nurses’ duties, will be provided up to 8 minutes compensated work time of donning, xxxxxxx, and walking to and from their assignment; however, such time shall generally be incorporated into nurses’ regular scheduled shift.
Donning and Xxxxxxx. For areas where donning and xxxxxxx of specific Hospital safety attire and equipment is required by the Hospital, a reasonable donning and xxxxxxx time as determined by the department manager will be allowed at the beginning and end of shift. Donning time is defined as the time it takes to clock in, change into required attire and/or equipment and to report to the primary work station to begin a shift. Xxxxxxx time is defined as the time from the work station, to change out of required attire and/or equipment and to clock out for the end of shift.
Donning and Xxxxxxx. The employer will not compensate employees for time spent putting on or taking off protective clothing or gear.
Donning and Xxxxxxx. For areas where donning and xxxxxxx of hospital attire is required, an eight (8) minute donning time will be allowed at the beginning of a shift and an eight (8) minute xxxxxxx time will be allowed prior to the end of shift. Donning time is defined as the time it takes to clock in, to change into required attire and to report to the primary work station to begin a shift. Xxxxxxx time is defined as the time from the workstation, to change out of required attire and to clock out for the end of shift.

Association members assigned to Patrol who, as part of their normal duty preparation, don and doff safety equipment (i.e. a ballistic vest) shall be given ten (10) minutes at the beginning and end of their shift to don/doff that equipment. Briefing for Watch 1 will begin at 0710 hours, for Watch 2 at 1640 hours and Watch 3 at 2140 hours. Officers will be permitted to begin xxxxxxx their uniforms ten (10) minutes prior to the end of their shift.
Donning and Xxxxxxx. 11 Unit members will perform their duties as assigned by the 12 Department during their hours of work. Performance of duties does 13 not include donning and xxxxxxx, i.e. changing clothing, showering, 14 or other personal cleanup activities at the beginning of or prior to 15 the conclusion of the work shift, or other activities which are not 16 assigned by the Department, with the exception of the Water 17 Reclamation Plant Mechanic Series as indicated below, or in 18 situations where a supervisor determines that a shower and/or a 19 change of uniform is necessary for the health or safety of the unit 20 member. Unit members in the Water Reclamation Plant Mechanic series 21 have the opportunity to perform personal clean-up such as showering 22 and changing clothes after their shift has ended or during the last
Donning and Xxxxxxx. 22 Unit members will perform their duties as assigned by the 23 Department during their hours of work. Performance of duties does 24 not include changing clothing, showering, or other personal clean up 25 at the beginning or prior to the conclusion of the work shift, or 26 other activities which are not assigned by the Department, except in 27 situations where a supervisor determines that a shower and/or change 28 of uniforms is necessary for the health or safety of the unit 1 member.
Donning and Xxxxxxx. For areas where donning and xxxxxxx of hospital attire is required at work, employees will be given a reasonable amount of time (7 minutes maximum) at the start and end of their shift to change clothing before they are expected to report to their primary work station.
