PROVISIONAL APPOINTEES. Upon appointment from a certified list, an Employee who was provisionally appointed shall have service as a provisional appointee credited toward the Working Test Period. If the service has not been satisfactory, the Employee shall not be retained in the position. This provision shall not alter merit system requirements for examination and appointment.
