CONTEXT OF THIS AGREEMENT. 6.1 CSIRO’s mission is to deliver great science and innovative solutions for industry, society and the environment. This Agreement supports CSIRO’s core purpose, role and Strategic Plan.
6.2 CSIRO’s continued success is dependent on its people and its ability to provide an environment in which their creativity, diversity and innovation can flourish. The following key elements underpin all provisions in this Agreement: • Attracting, retaining, rewarding and motivating the right mix of highly skilled, outcome-focused and team-oriented people; • Encouraging development, learning, growth and effective utilisation of staff capabilities; • Celebrating outstanding contributions by individuals and teams through meaningful awards and rewards; • Providing competitive salaries that recognise officers’ contributions and achievements; • Providing a healthy, safe and inclusive work environment; • Treating people equitably and with respect; • Encouraging and fostering effective communication processes and productive work relationships; • Facilitating a reasonable balance between work and personal responsibilities.
6.3 This Agreement provides the cultural and operational foundation needed to achieve CSIRO’s strategic goals.
6.4 Consistent with CSIRO’s Code of Conduct, all officers are expected to perform their duties with professionalism and integrity and behave at all times in a manner that upholds CSIRO’s reputation. This includes compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and with CSIRO policies, principles and procedures.
CONTEXT OF THIS AGREEMENT. This Agreement is made between WA Primary Health Alliance Ltd (WAPHA) and the Contractor for the performance of each Activity specified in the Activity Schedule. There may be multiple Activity Schedules which may each contain one or more Activities for which Fees are provided under this Agreement.

(a) This Agreement supports CSIRO’s Strategic Plan 2007 – 2011 which aspires to grow CSIRO’s impact by delivering great science and innovative solutions for industry, society and the environment through three major elements: • Addressing national challenges and opportunities, faster and better; • Focusing and strengthening CSIRO’s core science capability and delivery; and • Strengthening the enterprise and enhancing operational excellence.

(c) This Agreement provides the foundation for the operational and cultural change needed to achieve CSIRO’s strategic goal of playing an increasingly valuable role in Australia’s future.

d. each Activity Work Plan;
e. the Programme Manual;
f. the Programme Guidelines; and
g. any other documents incorporated by reference into these CoS Terms and Conditions or the Schedule.

CONTEXT OF THIS AGREEMENT. 3.1 The overall Site and interests of the Members are as delineated and described on Plan A1.1 and described in further detail in Appendix A3. The boundaries of the Site may, with the consent of the Members, be re-defined from time to time.
3.2 The background to and context of this Agreement is described in Appendix A2.
3.3 Additional parties may become members of the Partnership upon application subject to the written consent of all existing Members and subject to acceptance of the terms of this Agreement. The proposed new member shall be required to enter into a deed of adherence pursuant to which the proposed member agrees to be bound by all the terms of this Agreement as if it had been a signatory.
3.4 The Members will not subsume either the liabilities or responsibilities of the landowners but will support and encourage appropriate land management through advice and direct action.
3.5 For the avoidance of doubt, it is agreed that this Agreement is not intended to create (whether expressly or impliedly) a legal partnership between the Members or otherwise constitute them as partners, joint venturers or co-owners, or constitute any Member as the agent, employee or representative of the other, or empower any Member to act for, bind or otherwise create or assume any obligation on behalf of any other, and no Member shall hold itself out as having authority to do the same. Furthermore, it is not intended that the Partnership shall have a separate legal personality including, without limitation, any form of body corporate, unincorporated association, firm, partnership, joint venture, consortium, association, institution, organisation or trust.
CONTEXT OF THIS AGREEMENT. 7.1 This Agreement supports the strategic directions delivered through the AIMS’ Research Plan current at the time this Agreement is entered into.
7.2 The following key elements underpin all provisions in this Agreement: Attracting, retaining, rewarding and motivating the right mix of highly skilled, outcome - focused and team-oriented people; Encouraging development, learning and growth; Celebrating outstanding contributions by individuals and teams through meaningful awards and rewards; Providing competitive salaries that recognise Staff Members’ contributions and achievements; Providing a healthy and safe working environment; Treating people equitably and with respect; Encouraging and fostering effective communication processes and productive work relationships; and Facilitating a realistic balance between work and personal responsibilities.
7.3 AIMS and its Staff agree that nominated Team Leaders/Service Group Managers/Supervisors carry a major responsibility for effective people management at AIMS.
7.4 AIMS and its Staff agree that Staff Members have a responsibility for self-management, understand the consequences of their Actions, appreciate their effective contribution to performance and the importance of operating as a team.
7.5 Workplace health and safety will be paramount to the operations and activities of AIMS whilst maintaining low environmental impact and planning continuous improvement initiatives.
CONTEXT OF THIS AGREEMENT. As of the date hereof, Holdings owns 75% of the voting equity of Striker Paper Canada, Inc. (more particularly defined herein as the "Corporation")
