Common use of Public Service Clause in Contracts

Public Service. A leave of absence not to exceed one (1) year may be granted to any bargaining unit member, upon application, for the purpose of campaigning for, or serving in, a public office. At the discretion of the Board, a one (1) year extension may be granted.
