Pull-Boxes. 8.7.1. Pull-boxes shall be Xxxxxx Precast type BC 4686 or City approved equal.
Pull-Boxes. Pull boxes shall be precast reinforced concrete or composite boxes of the sizes and details shown on the Drawings and Standard Drawings.
Pull-Boxes. A minimum of 6 inches of clearance shall be maintained between the top of the conduits and the bottom of the pull box cover. A minimum of 4 inches of conduit shall extend into the pull box. Conduit caps shall be installed to help prevent the entry of foreign material into the electrical raceway. Traffic signal and roadway lighting pull boxes shall not be modified by the Contractor.
Pull-Boxes. The Contractor shall check all pull-boxes for damage. Check all pull boxes for missing, broken, and/or loose fitting lids. Check for proper height and potential trip hazards. Check condition of wiring including conductor insulation, cable insulation, and splices. Check grounding where present to ensure grounding wires are correctly fastened and tight. Tighten and/or reattach conduit grounds where necessary. Re-splice and/or re-seal connections requiring immediate attention. Report problems and noted areas of concern to the Owner.

The plans regarding pull boxes for electrical work are ES-8A, ES-8B, ES-8C, ES-8D. Handholes shall be leveled and backfilled properly.
