PURPOSE OF COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT. 1.01 The general purpose of this Collective Agreement is to provide orderly collective bargaining relations between the Company and its employees represented by the Union; to provide for the prompt and fair disposition of grievances; and to provide mutually satisfactory working conditions, hours of work, and rates of pay, with due regard for the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation.
