Common use of Purpose of Procedure Clause in Contracts

Purpose of Procedure. The purpose of this procedure is to secure, at the lowest possible administrative level, equitable solutions to the problems which may from time to time arise affecting the welfare or working conditions of teachers. Proceedings shall be kept as informal and confidential as may be appropriate. Full and free communication between the principal or the supervisor and the teacher is not to be inhibited by the injection of any third party or Association representative unless formal grievance procedures are contemplated or formal disciplinary action by the principal or supervisor is anticipated.
