Common use of Qualification for Holiday Pay Clause in Contracts

Qualification for Holiday Pay. (a) In order to qualify for holiday pay, an Employee must work his/her full scheduled shift immediately preceding and immediately following the holiday and must work on such holidays if scheduled to work, except where the absence is as a result of sickness or absence authorized by management.
