QUALIFICATIONS - ELECTRICIANS Electrician, Class. “A” An electrician, Class ‘A’, shall be expected to have a minimum of five yearspractical experience and to be able to work directly from electrical drawings and install equipment in accordance with government standards and regulations. He must be a safe worker as to electrical methods and practices and in working from scaffolds and ladders. He must have specialized knowledge of some particular class or classes of electrical equipment, such as transformers (Power distribution), oil circuit breakers (above 200-A), cable splicing to 800,000 C.M. 30-2300-V, batteries and battery charging, electric trucks, motors and generator (A.C. or D.C.), xxxx bonding and erection, signals, elevators, conduit bending 1/2 inch to 4-inch, lighting series and multiple, air circuit breakers (A.C. and D.C.), and cable training; to diagnose and repair common troubles, such as hot bearings, over-heated motors. He must understand the fundamental working of common electrical equipment; to recognize dangerous practices; potential shorts and grounds, and to be able to test and locate grounds by usual methods. He shall be expected to be able to rewind simple motors; to repair common types of electrical equipment; to have knowledge of winding coils for given service; to have knowledge of different characteristics and classes of motor windings; and to be able to take off own data from original windings; to have knowledge of telephones and auto calls and to have knowledge of magnet wire sizes and shapes and uses thereof; to be a solderman. He must have a good knowledge of various types and grades of oils and greases and the uses thereof; to have a basic knowledge of industrial electronic circuits such as: photo electric relays, simple amplifiers, etc.; to recognize common electrical phenomena such as eddy currents, hysteresis, capacity, induction, resistance, etc.

  • Electrician The employer may take an inventory of an employee’s tools when the latter is hired, failing which, the list of tools in the appendix hereto shall prevail. In the event of loss or damage resulting from a fire or break-in, the employer shall replace the tools in question or compensate the employee for up to $600.00.

  • Technicians A G.S.E. Coordinator also may be required to perform Technician's work in the G.S.E. shop.

  • Professional Qualifications It shall be a condition of continued professional employment that employees must apply for enrolment in their appropriate professional licensing body by the thirtieth day of continuous service.

  • Qualifications of Panelists All Panelists shall: (a) have expertise or experience in law, international trade, other matters covered by this Agreement, or the resolution of disputes arising under international trade agreements relevant to the subject matter of the dispute; (b) be chosen strictly on the basis of objectivity, impartiality, reliability, and sound judgment; (c) be independent of, and not be affiliated with or take instructions from, any Party; (d) not delegate their responsibilities to any other person; and (e) comply with the Model Rules of Procedure established in Annex 12 (Model Rules of Procedure).

  • Dimensions Education Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Experience: A minimum of 4 years of IT work experience in data modeling, data analysis, relational DBMS design and support and relevant computing environments.

  • Personnel Qualifications Contractor shall assign properly qualified and experienced personnel to the program contemplated under this Agreement, and Contractor shall use reasonable efforts to retain such personnel on Customer’s program for the duration of such program.

  • Electrical Equipment Residents must use only CSA, UL-approved or Canadian-certified electrical equipment; the rated wattage of light fixtures must never be exceeded; and only replacement bulbs supplied by Waterloo maintenance staff may be used. Do not leave any unattended electrical equipment turned on (i.e. hair straighteners, lights etc.)

  • Classroom Teachers b. School counselors

  • Electrical Service Electrical service for new construction or a renovated existing building shall be 480/277-volt, 3-phase, 4-wire or approved equal. Service shall be sized for HVAC and other mechanical system(s) loads, lighting, general building services, and dedicated computer based office equipment loads. 5 xxxxx per square foot shall be provided for lighting and general service receptacles. Size of neutral conductor of 3- phase circuits shall be twice that of phase conductor to accommodate potential harmonic currents associated with computer system electronic power supplies and fluorescent lighting fixtures electronic ballasts. An adequately sized 3 phase “wye” wound step down transformer shall be provided to supply 208/120-volt, 3 phase power, for lighting, general service receptacles and dedicated computer based office equipment. Dedicated, isolated ground circuits shall be supplied from separate isolated ground power distribution panel(s). Lighting circuits shall be supplied from separate lighting panel(s). Panels shall have 20% spare capacity and be complete with 10% spare breakers of each size, but no less than 1 spare. No more than 4 duplex receptacles shall be connected to any single 20-amp dedicated isolated ground circuit or general service circuit.

  • Electrical Safety Only UL approved items are permitted in Housing & Residence Life. Extension and multi-use cords must be heavy duty, single plug, and be UL approved. Altering or adapting electrical outlets and equipment and overloading circuits jeopardize safety and thus are not permitted.
