QUALITY OF WORK AND MATERIAL. 12.1.1 All Work must be done and completed in a thorough, workmanlike manner by mechanics skilled in their various trades, notwithstanding any error or omission in the Contract Documents, and all parts shall be made accurately to standard gauge so that renewals and repairs may be made when necessary with the least possible expense. All materials employed shall be new and homogenous and of high quality throughout. Any forgings and castings shall be free from flaws and imperfections, the determination of which shall follow the latest and most improved practice. All Work must be in accordance with the Contract Documents and shall be made to conform thereto. Any material specified by reference to the number, symbol or title of a standard such as ASTM shall comply with the requirements of the latest revisions thereof or any supplement or amendment thereto except where a different edition is specified. The referenced standards shall have the same force and effect as if they were printed in full in the Contract Documents. If the Design-Builder wishes to use codes or standards not specified in the Contract Documents, Design-Builder shall submit for approval sufficient information to City to determine equivalency. The Design-Builder shall be held to guarantee all material, apparatus, and equipment, to fulfill all requirements and special guarantees set forth in the Construction Documents (including, the Design Documents).

Workmanship shall be in accordance with the best standard practices. All work shall conform to the project drawings and specifications.

  • Quality of Work Consultant agrees that all Services performed under this Agreement will conform to the specifications of the College, be free from errors, and be of professional quality according to applicable industry standards. Upon notice by the College, Consultant will promptly correct any defects without charge to the College unless the request is considered new work by both parties.

  • LAYOUT OF WORK The Contractor shall lay out its Work from base lines and benchmarks indicated on the Drawings, and shall be responsible for verification of all measurements in connection with the layout. The Contractor shall furnish all stakes, templates, platforms, equipment, tools, materials, and labor required to lay out any part of the Work. The Contractor shall also be responsible for maintaining and preserving all stakes and other marks established by Princeton University until authorized to remove them. If such marks are destroyed by the Contractor or through its negligence before their removal is authorized, Princeton University may replace them and deduct the expense of the replacement from any amounts due or to become due to the Contractor.   • Xxxxx of Work The Contractor shall provide information technology (IT) independent verification and validation (IV&V) services to Customers in accordance with this Statement of Work (SOW). The Contractor shall provide the professional and technical staff necessary to perform the ((IT) IV&V services required by this Contract, and the staff shall have sufficient skill and experience to perform the services assigned to them. All of the (IT) IV&V services to be furnished by the Contractor under the Contract shall meet the professional standard and quality that prevail among IT professionals in the same discipline and of similar knowledge and skill engaged in related work under the same or similar circumstances. The Contractor shall maintain during the term of the Contract all licenses, permits, qualifications, insurance, and approvals of whatever nature that are legally required to perform the (IT) IV&V services.

  • Statement of Work The Contractor shall provide the services and staff, and otherwise do all things necessary for or incidental to the performance of work, as set forth below:

  • Completion of Works Buildings will be considered complete on the issue of the City’s Certificate of Occupancy. Other structures will be considered complete on the issue of the Company’s engineers notification of the completion of construction, and by the City’s certification.

  • Quality of Materials and Workmanship Unless otherwise specified, all materials shall be new, and both workmanship and materials shall be of good quality. The Contractor shall, if required, furnish satisfactory evidence as to the kind and quality of materials and work. The burden of proof is on the Contractor.

  • Inspection of Work It is FIRST PARTY's obligation to make the work product available for CITY's inspections and periodic reviews upon request by CITY.

  • REVIEW OF WORK The Consultant shall permit the City, its agents and/or employees to review, at any time, all work performed pursuant to the terms of this Agreement at any stage of the work;
