QUESTION PERIOD. The Department invites interested and registered Vendors to submit questions regarding the solicitation through the MFMP “Messaging” tab (referred to as the “Q&A Board” in PUR 1001) during the defined Question Period. The Question Period begins in MFMP when the Department publishes a solicitation and closes according to the Timeline of Events, section 2.2 of this solicitation. The purpose of the Question Period is to assist the Department in “…assuring the vendor’s full understanding of the solicitation requirements”, in accordance with section 287.057(2), Florida Statutes, by providing registered Vendors with written binding answers to questions about the solicitation. In order to submit a question, Vendors must be registered in MFMP and able to access the “Messages” tab in the MFMP solicitation dashboard, per the PUR 1001 Form, incorporated into this solicitation by reference. The following quoted text replaces Paragraph 5 of PUR 1001: “Questions must be submitted via the Q&A Board within MyFloridaMarketPlace and must be RECEIVED NO LATER THAN the time and date reflected on the Timeline. Questions shall be answered in accordance with the Timeline. All questions submitted shall be published and answered in a manner that all respondents will be able to view. Respondents shall not contact any other employee of the Buyer or the State for information with respect to this solicitation. Each respondent is responsible for monitoring the MyFloridaMarketPlace site for new or changing information. The Buyer shall not be bound by any verbal information or by any written information that is not contained within the solicitation documents or formally noticed and issued by the Buyer's contracting personnel. Questions to the Procurement Officer or to any Buyer personnel shall not constitute formal protest of the specifications or of the solicitation, a process addressed in paragraph 20 of these Instructions.”
QUESTION PERIOD. A. Xxxxxx asked what was happening with the iPads in the school. X. Xxxxxx informed him that the iPads were lent to teachers last year, so they could get used to using them and that this year, the iPads were grouped together to create a lendable set for classroom activities. Teachers can sign the set out from the office.
QUESTION PERIOD. QUESTIONS concerning this solicitation must be emailed and received by the Division of Purchases at xxx.xxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxx.xx.xxx no later than Monday, June 11th, 2018 at 5:00 pm, in a Microsoft Word attachment with the corresponding solicitation number. Estimates will be required for all work exceeding $250.00 on non-specialty motors, 1 hp or less. If repair is to exceed 50% of replacement cost, vendor will contact requesting agency for authorization prior to repair. Vendor must provide an estimate of repair time and cost within 5 working days of picking up motor to be repaired. No travel time will be authorized. Billing starts on the job. RI electricians license is required for all on-site work. Bidders must pay the prevailing wage rate per RIGL 37-13. Prevailing wage is only required for repairs done on-site. Repairs completed in off-hours (overtime) must be specifically requested and approved beforehand by the user agency.

  • Hire Period 24.1 Where a timing device is mounted on the Equipment it may be used by Proquip to determine the time the Equipment was in use by the Client unless otherwise stated in the Hire Schedule. Where the meter is found not to be working either during or at the Termination Date then Proquip will estimate the hours used and the onus is on the Client to prove otherwise. 24.2 Hire charges shall commence from the time the Equipment is collected by the Client from Proquip’s premises and will continue until the return of the Equipment to Proquip’s premises, and/or until the expiry of the Minimum Hire Period, whichever last occurs. 24.3 Unless otherwise agreed by Proquip, the Minimum Hire Period shall be for a period of one (1) day and usage shall not exceed eight (8) hours within that period. 24.4 The maximum allowable daily use shall not exceed eight (8) hours within any twenty four (24) on-hire period. Excess use charges will be applied in accordance with clause 24.1. 24.5 If Proquip agrees with the Client to deliver and/or collect the Equipment, hire charges shall commence from the time the Equipment leaves Proquip’s premises and continue until the Client notifies Proquip that the Equipment is available for collection, and/or until the expiry of the Minimum Hire Period, whichever last occurs. 24.6 Equipment must be returned or made available for collection by 9am on the designated off-hire day or additional charges will apply. 24.7 No allowance whatsoever can be made for time during which the Equipment is not in use for any reason, unless Proquip confirms special prior arrangements in writing. In the event of Equipment breakdown provided the Client notifies Proquip immediately, hiring charges will not be payable during the time the Equipment is not working, unless the condition is due to negligence or misuse on the part of or attributable to the Client.
