Random Drug and Alcohol Testing. The Union recognizes that the Company is required by the laws of the United States to administer a program of random drug and alcohol testing for drivers who are required to operate in the United States. The Company agrees that random drug and alcohol testing will be limited to the group of drivers necessary to carry out the Company's operations in the United States and to those employees who have voluntarily submitted their names in writing to the Company in order to be eligible for work assignments that operate in the United States, therefore allowing themselves to be part of the random drug and alcohol pool. Upon confirmation that these drivers have been registered in the random drug and alcohol pool, the Company agrees to identify those employees’ names with the bargaining unit by way of a notation on the seniority list.
