Common use of Rate of Pay for Holiday Work Clause in Contracts

Rate of Pay for Holiday Work. An employee who is required to work on a holiday specified herein may receive one and one-half (1 1/2) times his/her hourly rate for all hours worked on the holiday, or may select another paid day off in lieu of premium pay. An employee who selects another day off shall receive straight time for time worked, and no holiday pay.
