Reassignment and Transfer. (Applies to SB1, SC1 and SD1 only) Unit members who are interested in being considered for reassignment may submit a written request, in accordance with established procedures, to their departmental or divisional personnel office for positions within their department or division. Unit members may submit a request to Human Resources Management (HRM) for transfer to a position in another department. HRM will provide names of permanent unit members who have made themselves available for transfer to departments submitting requisitions to fill positions. When filling a vacant authorized position, the City may consider unit members for such assignment on the basis of seniority.
